Second thumb stud?

I don't own any CRKs yet and am contemplating getting a small Sebenza. I'd like to get one with dual thumb studs. I know that can be custom-ordered, which I presume then takes months. If I were to get a single-stud Sebenza, is it possible to have a second one installed, or to buy an additional stud and install it yourself? Thanks.

Yes. Takes 4-6 weeks.. just spoke to them. I might hand over a 21 at a knife show next month for a shorter time..

I love the thought of dual studs. But realize I never use the left side besides fondling.

Then again. I'd rather nobody touch my 21.

And check the Exchange here if a used one is ok for your use. I prefer dual studs for greater versatility. And it just looks more balanced.

I was in the same exact position you’re now in a while ago. I bought a Starbenza from Wilson Combat and couldn’t be happier with it. Check out the WC CRK offerings. Ambidextrous thumb studs (not to mention grooving on both scales) are standard. Good luck and happy shopping!

Thanks! This complicates the decision further for me, as I really like what I see in both the Star-Benza as well as the Knife Art CF Sebenza.

And then there is the dreaded KA model with dual blue studs. This is a large 21 but I would think they must have done the smalls the same way at the time. This is a 2014 birthdate.

I like both. But the weight reduction and look of the CF make it a clear winner for me atm.

I really like this one. If I pull this trigger, it’ll probably be the Insingo blade.
