This one is a 5" Tusker with brass guard, A2 steel.

Scott that one is awesome looking.Love the way that handle turned out. Did the same customer order that one that has the mesquite burl Big Boar Tusker? that there is one heck of a pair!

I need a Tusker....and some $$. Maybe I can get the wife to kneecap me so I can get some aflac dough...lol

Yes it is a pair Mike.
Jake the nice thing about these scales is that they are smooth but have texture/grip to them.

Scott, how are your guards attatched?

Do you use stainless steel, or nickel silver?

I use brass or 416 stainless steel for guards. I don't solder. There is a notch at the bottom of the ricasso and a 3/32" pin through the guard in the center.
