Secondary market selling price range for the Blue Manix 2?

Hi, everyone,

The Blue Manix 2 is so rare right now that I have a hard time finding a selling price range on the secondary market. The only one I found recently has been $199 from Recon 1 on that big auction site.

Can anyone chime in on what you may have seen in the the recent past?

The past month seems to have lowered the forum price to around $165-$200.

ETA: This was from the average of the past few months of $185-$215

I did a search on completed listings on some auction site and there were three sold since the 30th, 180, 176, and 163. The 180 was the most recent sold.

I traded my spare one at a trade value of $220, but then the Pilot Run I got for it also had an inflated price.
I think the Blue Manix is way overpriced when compared to the CTS-XHP Manix or even the CF Manix.

I paid full list ($200) a few weeks ago.
I thought long and hard about doing that.

I'm no big spender. But I felt better about this purchase because it was from a reputable dealer with whom I've done business.

That gave me confidence that it really was new; I've come to understand that many of the "NIB" blades sold in these forums have been played with (or worse) before being sold. Some people seem to think that unless they've used the blade to cut down a tree, it's still "new."
