Seconds markings

Has Spyderco ever used a Center punch mark to
identify a Seconds blade?

No. That looks more like a Rockwell hardness test than a seconds notch. The marks have gotten smaller and smaller over the years, but they have always been a notch on the corner of the spine.

Thanks, that's what I thought.
I picked up the knife on a different forum and the seller had it listed as a second.

In the end it doesn't matter. It was more for information on clarity on Seconds markings.

I've been going to Seconds Sales since before that model came out and I've never seen a seconds mark that looked like that. They are always visible from the side, although they may be close enough to be mistaken for a jimping line until you look down at the spine.
