Secret projects and special orders are a go.

Just a quick progress report -- for all those who have secret projects and special orders in the works we have a go on everything and I think the chances for success on all items is in the 95% category. All look good to me.

Have pix of a lot of stuff which I'll post on return.

Stay well all and blessings from Nepal.

Khukuri FAQ

Since Ganga Ram isn't making the khuk of his namesake ( and that isn't putting Bura down, it's just a matter of priority ), please put me on the "March Madness" list, Uncle Bill. Oh *boy* are the forumites going to be glad to see you back, Uncle!

And to answer your questions about what kind of guy could subject you to such sweet agony, see the "Thanks for the abbreviations" topic of 12 AM 2/16/2000. ( Yes, I not only am one, but a rather well read one at that. And Lupold von Sacher-Masoch as well! ) ROTFLMAOAICGU

Hello Uncle Bill, I'm glad to hear you're enjoying yourself.

How's the search for aged bone? Has that all been sorted out?

Thanks

Unca Bill, when can we spill the beans regarding a certain cool critter?

(visualize somebody almost 300lbs hopping around with excitement...

Now that's interesting. 'Cuz no joke here although my mom thought it was, I was born 4/1/66.

(scratches head)

Now THAT is syncronicity.

Bill, one question: do you think this project will lead to an increase in quality on ALL blades, given that they've got a "target to shoot for sitting right there and can be handled"?

To me, that's really more important than any one blade, or even a continuing production of these.

Jim

Jim, I think the quality of all blades is taking a jump since I've been able to spend time with the kamis and tell them what our customers want and expect from us. The face to face communication has paid off handsomely. This journey has been a huge success in more ways than one.

Look for pix of secret projects next week.
