Securing kydex to clothing

I've got a Hideawayknife on the way, I'm ready to order a Boker CLB Edit as soon as it's out in the States, and even ended up with a little Ka-Bar LDK because it was on sale and cheap enough. However, besides those 'sheathsticks' Hideawayknife sells to secure the sheath under collars, in jackets and in pockets, I have no idea what I can use to on a sheath using the provided holes in the sides. The Sheathsticks look ideal, but twenty bucks a pair for a couple rivets smaller than dimes? What do more financial-minded owners use to pin these sheaths in pockets and jackets?
