Please tell me anything you can about these knives, average age, company info construction... literally anything that would help me learn more. Please support your findings cause I have a feeling we are going to get some mixed views. Good Luck!

Thanks for your time and help.

Ok, through other sources I have found that the knives;
-are constructed with 440 stainless steel
-were made in China

I know this is like most knives but you never know, this may help some of you narrow it down.

My grandpa was collecting this brand for a while and I am trying to learn anything I can about them so I can learn maybe why they were significant to him.

This is something, hopefully I can keep having people post anything they see that may be significant.

If the knives were made in mainland China, then they wouldn't be of interest to most if not all of the people who post here. No offense to you or your grandfather, but knives made in China don't have a good reputation. They would not be considered collectable, desirable as users, or valuable in any other sense. Sorry if this is bad news, but them's the facts.

Some fairly decent knives are made in Taiwan, however. The Benchmade Rant comes to mind.

You may be surprised, but finding out that these knives are crap is learning more than I knew before. I am hoping for that one little piece, no matter how insignificant to you all, that will really help me out, thanks for your time so far and all the help.
