It's the BK-29 because the summer solstice always happens in the summer when four planets are aligned along two different axes. 4x2=8, but then you have to add in 1 for tradewater's beard.
That gets you to the 9, but the 2 is best explained in song...

But let's not forget about the oft-overlooked pythagorean theory. In this particular case we'll assume that each side of the right angle will represent horizontal and vertical wind shear. The remaining side must equal 9. Either that, or I'm high on potenuse.
