we're heading out in the a.m. for another week in the eastern sierra's.. primarily Mammoth Lake's and the surrounding area's.. we have been spending a lot of time there for the past 4 or 5 summers now.. the place is absolutely amazing, we all love it..
i am beat.. i have been gathering gear and running around all day today..

i'll definitely taking lots of pics... take care..

I was due to explore the same area two weeks ago but a friend who lives up there (Modesto) flaked out. I have another friend in San Fran that's interested in checking out Yosemite sometime. I'm going for an over night tomorrow in Southern CA. For those of you outside California experiencing a dry and hot America, California is ironically, as wet and green as it's ever been in many years. This is the best time for exploring the Sierra's in well over a decade. Oh but if anyone checks out Yosemite, stay out of the rivers and far away from any waterfalls. Just sayin.
