Scott is on his way back to civilaztion. Not sure but I think he had a good time.:D:D I know I did. Had a great time getting to know Scott and his buddy Craig. We had a great hunt. Scott and Craig are just like Scott's knives Top Shelf. Thanks Scott for the fellowship. And I will let Scott fill you guys in on the details of the hunt. But lets just say we very exciting time.
 
Made it home last nite at 10 pm. 14 hours driving yesterday. I'll post up about the trip when I get a chance. Whole lot to do after being away for 4 days. I just want to say that I had one hell of a good time and learned alot. I want to thank Cddogfan for his generous hospitality.

Got the pics uploaded on my laptop. I will post some within a day or two. Two hogs were caught. One was 257 lbs the other was 267 lbs. I got to kill the bigger one and skin it. That's what I looked forward too, the skinning. I used my CPM 154 UNK, 2 3/4" blade. Took about 20 to 30 min. to skin. Not nearly as difficult as I've been told. BTW, the UNK shaved hair off my arm when I finished. I also want to add that my hands were coated in fat/grease from the hog. It had about an inch thick worth of fat between the hide and the meat. Not once did I lose a grip on the knife. Canvas micarta is great for those conditions. Just think of your hands covered with Vaseline.

These hogs were in some thick shit. First one was in thick brush just on the edge of a swamp. It was all they could do to get in there to tie up the hog. He killed one of the dogs. All the dogs got poked. Second hog was in small growth pines, deadfalls and briar bushes.
We covered about 6 miles Sat. through fields, woods and swamp. One tough ass hunt. Literally running to catch up with the bay dogs.
