So I just joined the BFs, and have started making knives for fun after getting some axes fixed up. It rocketed me into blades more then my usual generic fondness. I have had a few pretty good knives, a benchmade AFO2 at one point, different SOGS, budk fixeds, cheapos galore, edc now a camillus aus8 titanium g10. The picture here is a Frost small bowie I dont remember from, but a long time ago I took the accentuated toothpick clip point down to a straight edged drop/clip point. That obviously gave it a fat unusable grind at the tip and the rest the original hollow.
My call out here is centered around the blackndeckr mini chop saw I turned into VERY well working (yes, I am as surprised as impressed) 1x30 belt grinder which allowed this long junk drawered blade to become something slightly respectable (on the surface anyway), and is going to make the next file knife a process of a couple days instead of a week or more. I am a born Mickey mouser, I like hearing Fubar and saying "Ha! You watch, it'll work", one way or another, or another purpose anyway.
So my hope is to see you guys' homemade jimmy rigs, what are your reconstituted shenanigans? Who else is in the Duct Tape Club?
