Seeking a vendor to add serrations

I have a new Benchmade 9400 plain edge and I'd like to have it partially serrated, similar to how Benchmade does with some of their combo edge blades. Is there a reliable vendor or craftsman for adding serrations? Bonus points for any in South Florida.

I second Veff serrations, even though they are not what you asked for. I carried a CRKT M16-14SFG for a couple years, love the blade and serrations the lock mechanism just didn’t last. These are the most aggressive serrations I’ve ever come across.

I contacted Benchmade and asked if they could add serrations if I sent my knife back and they responded that model is not offered with a serrated blade. I.e. an indirect 'no,' that they wont modify existing blades. I am a little disappointed because 1. They have the life sharpening service so they definitely handle and perform service on existing customer blades, and 2. Supposedly they do everything in house so its not as if they can't assist because they're limited by whatever blade stock some overseas factory can supply.

Btw I've looked at Veff's page and I may use his service but I'd prefer a serration style closer to the OEM Benchmade offering.

Josh (REK) did a great job on two of my Spydercos. Under water too, no issue with the heat treat. I was allowed to spec the Serrations (I chose Spyderco 1-2-1 style). Check with him, not sure if he still does this.

Great post, thank you!

REK agreed to take my request. I look forward to the results.

Josh at REK knives did a great job. Turn around time was just a week and I had a nice serrated blade in my hands.

I'd love to post a picture, but this forum is surprisingly awkward to post a picture using an Android phone. The image icon asks me to insert a http link. Really!?
