Good afternoon,
I hope I have come to the right forum for these questions. If I haven't please redirect me to the correct one.
I have two knives that were given to me as gifts by my staff and am trying to find out more information about them.
One is a lock back that has a Damascus steel blade with the name(s) "Parker-Edwards", Jacksonville, AL. I am just trying to find out more about this knife and knife maker. The knife has a "stag" handle with what appears to be nickle-silver fittings.
The second knife is a sheath knife with a 3 1/2" blade with the name J.T. Rambo. It has a "stag" handle and what appears to be brass fittings. It also has some very fine scratches on the blade from a diamond coated sharpening steel. I was wondering how I might go about polishing them off or out as the blade has a high gloss polish to it and the scratches detract from beauty of the blade.
Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

About polishing to a fine finish.
You'll need wet & dry sandpaper at various grits to polish. Use a stiff flat backing for the sandpaper to help you sand it.
Given that it's a fine scratch I suppose you could take higher grit sandpaper instead of using the much rougher stuff.
Hope this helps and Welcome to Bladeforums.
