Does anyone know a source for generic microfiber knife pouches? I used to get them with BM knives and Protech and I've been looking to get them in bulk. Amazon sells sunglass pouches for about 50 cents apiece but those are twice as large as needed for folding knives. I've googled everything I can think of, and aside from replacement pouches from specific brands for $8+, I can't find anything. I keep knives all over the place and wanted to use these for a little extra protection and avoid wear if I can find them cheaply in bulk. I thought knife making suppliers would have these for makers, but couldn't find anything there either.

How many pouches do you want?

Check Uline, they have tons of packing solutions. While not fabric, they have lightweight foam pouches part # S-22424 that are 2"x5" that would offer some protection from wear and tear.

Maybe look into wholesale jewelry supply houses, hobby stores, the Bay, local seamstress (inevitably cheaper if you buy the fabric yourself), Etsy, Facebook marketplace, crafting forums, small business/factory near you or local resources to fabricate little pouches for you.

Depending on your location, many cities have industrial areas with clusters of small businesses. If there's a clothing business in such an area, they might make pouches for you as a side job. Use your friend network to see if any of them have a family member who'd be willing to take on the project or know of a place to buy/make small bags.

Good luck with your search.

ETA: Or learn to sew. An open top knife slip is about the simplest project. Fold fabric rectangle in half, sew two seams. Turn inside out for appearance sake if you choose.

The pickpocket case from CountyComm sounds like what you want.

Wow those are some great ideas! Thanks! 500 of those little foam pouches for $35 look perfect. I could even use a sharpie to write on them before tossing into drawers so I can identify them better. I might use these for shipping when I sell knives on Bladebinge as a nice little touch them

Not going to ask why keep knives all over the place, but... some "sporks" and such for wild life meals etc. have quite good and sure packaging in the form you may want.

I googled that and they are everywhere. Put zipper in to your search.

Safe and sound came up as a generic brand.
