seeking opinions from those wiser and more experienced than myself on this bk2

So I sent Ka-Bar a pic of this BK2 last week and was told its within manufacture spec (from what they could tell from the crappy picture that I sent). However, every time I look at the knife it just looks off to me. the last inch or so of blade has a near completely flat (almost tanto like) incline to the tip. I'm hoping some of you Becker enthusiasts could give me your opinion :).

Its quite possible I'm just being paranoid and nit-picky about the knife -I tend to do that... in which case, just tell me. I figure this is as good a place as any to get a "sanity check".

I don't have any other Beckers to compare it to, so here are some pics of it next to a Boker Vox Rold and an Ontario RD9:

Funny, I contacted Ka-bar about this same issue with a BK-2 I got on Amazon. I mean, it looked EXACTLY like that. I was told that the knives are hand ground and that any perceived profile or edge inconsistencies are due to the way that a particular individual grinds the blade. I will say this - despite the odd blade profile, the knife came razor sharp. Ultimately, I wasn't comfortable with the profile either, and exchanged it through Amazon. The one I received in exchange had the blade profile one expects to see from the Ka-bar website and every other picture of a BK-2 out there. If you're not comfortable with it, I'd try going back to the seller and asking for an exchange. Or, keep pestering Ka-bar. Definitely re-post in the Becker Forum; I'm just one guy - others may have a different opinion.

Also, despite the odd profile, I'm willing to bet that the knife still performs magnificently. BK2s are tanks.

Thanks for the response Winterveil, glad I wasn't the only one. I also got the same exact reasoning from them as well (must be kind of common). I won't be returning it to the seller as it has been too long, so I'll probably just have it as my designated knife for prying open military surplus ammo spam cans. -Also, re-posting to the Becker forum, thanks for the heads up guys.
