Hi all,

It's been a long time coming but, I am finally going to have my VERY first Axe/Hatchet Head find set up. Several years ago, my first pick was one of my best! I will be having my mini Norlund double bit "Saddle Cruiser" Axe/Hatchet set up with a nice 18"-20" Handle. So, I have to start thinking about having a nice custom made Leather Sheath made for this lil' Norlund. I would appreciate suggestions for a nice custom leather sheath at a fair price. Thank you for any help.

I recently got a new marbles example of similar dimensions, and I made myself a sheath from a bag of leather scraps which I buy for 7$ at Michael's craft stores.
It's not that hard, and for about 20$ you can make the sheath yourself and it's more fun.
All you really need is the leather, glue , waxed thread, and a couple needles.

Ummmmm, thanks HnSteel, that's a thought!

The bags are usually about 5lb so as long as you pick through what they have you can hopefully get enough good leather for multiple projects, but you shouldn't have to look to hard to at least get enough good leather for your hatchet sheath.
BTW a tip I learned for marking 4 evenly spaced holes is to use a fork, and there are many things to make holes with which you probably already have lying around the house.
