It looks good and I've kind of wanted one for a while now. I've only heard good things about Hogue. But I agree with DMG that it's pricey at over $200. Look at similar knives by other manufacturers. I think you'll find a lot of comparables that are at least $50-75 less. Kabar, Ontario, TOPS, Buck.
The positives about Hogue are that it's A2 steel, which isn't that common. And it's made in USA, which obviously does make manufacturing more expensive, but tends to have higher quality. A2 is really good steel, used by Bark River also. Is Hogue as good as Bark River? The prices are similar. I went with Bark River, mainly because they had more variety to choose from, and I found a model that I preferred over the EX-f01 (Bravo 2).
