Just ordered a metal bracelet Seiko Baby Monster for a killer deal, and was wondering if anyone happened to have one and know what size Zulu band works in these bad boys? I have been wearing a cheapy Bertucci with the nylon band and I love the feel and want to carry it over to a higher quality watch, and it looks like its all possible with the Zulu bands on the Seiko. Also does anyone know how hard it is to take the metal band off? Any how tos?

This is what I will have:

Any help would be appreciated, as I want to order the Zulu band today, so I have it when it ships!

Congrats on your purchase! I've got a regular Black Monster and a black Baby Monster. The Baby takes a 22mm band.

Hey, Natural Mystic. You don't happen to know what type of pins these use do you? Do you have a pic with details of the pins and the backside of the band/watch?

the bracelet is not hard to remove. A paper clip could work but I prefer a real spring bar tool.

Well if its that easy I will give it a try when it gets here. If worst comes to worst, I can order a spring bar tool. Thanks Esav and Swede!

I believe the Baby Monsters don't have drilled lugs so the paperclip won't work. I've had good success with the small pen blade on the Victorinox classic.

Well that may pose a problem. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I will just have to see what I have to work with when I get the watch. Worst comes to worst, I will take it to a jeweler to have them remove the metal band and then slap on the Maratac Zulu. Thanks guys, I can always trust someone here to lend a hand!

I can't add much more to this since I had both of my bands adjusted at my local jewelers. I do believe that both the Baby and regular Monsters' pins are different though. If anything the Baby's pins should be easier to remove than the regular Monster.
