Seki city Japan - suggestions on what to buy!

WIll buy a couple of kitchen knives but would appreciate suggestions on anything special I should look out for.

On the 12 the annual Knife and trad forging street festival will start but sadly by that time I will be home..

Its my first time to go so any advice will be taken.

I would imagine a near impossible decision, with the majority of best kitchen knifes in the world being made there.

I say get at least one carbon steel old world style, and one new powder formed steel. one as well.
