Seki City?

Has anyone been there? I might go for a day trip while i'm in Japan in a couple of weeks. I would be interested in checking out some knife and sword stuff while i'm there.

I can imagine that it's interesting for us knife hounds - provided there are enough shops or companies you can visit; but even so I can't shake the impression that for a first visit to Japan several other locations are likely more crucial to visit !

Great idea-going to Japan without Seki City is like going to Paris and not having a glass of wine. There has got to be something like a tourist agency that can set you up.
