Seki Cut Bob Lum

I've owned one of the Small Encounters. Its' handles were more grey than the one pictured. The one in your link appears to have been anodized black. To anodize is to subject a metal to an electric oxidation process in order to color it and also protect it.
 
That's a nice little knife at a good price. Anything with the Lum name on it is a superb design. Let's keep his memory alive.
 
Almite is a term I' ve seen used by Spyderco to describe some of the aluminum handled folders in their line. Many if not most of these Almite handles are (hard??) anodized in certain shades. Whether they result in a scuff resisitant/ longer wearing surface I' m not sure. The Spyderco forum will provide the answers.

Has anyone seen a black blade model? I ordered the one on the website but it came black.
