Hi - does anyone know the manufacturer of this knife? There is no brand that I can see. Nicely made lockback with 3 5/8" hollow ground blade which has etched/applied logo of an eagle carrying a knife or sword in its talons. Tang is stamped SEKI-Japan.

Not interested in it's value - just curious about who made it, when it was made and if they're still in business

Looks like something Moki might have made, but perhaps G. Sakai. Sal Glesser of Spyderco would probably be able to call it more closely than I can, but I thought I'd try anyway.

Thank you for your replies - these were much appreciated. That link to the Parker leads me to surmise that the Eagle_Knife logo belongs to ABCA and that this was a model commisioned and made for it's members. I really should pick up a copy of JBV's book. The style is similar to other knives by the makers mentioned (and some early Al Mar's) and one that has a lot of appeal to me.

I bought it 2nd hand for a fair price - the bolster has some damage - consistent with the knife being used as a hammer - so I knew it wouldn't have much value as a collectable. The good news is the lockup is tight & the blade while dull was straight and unmarked. It sharpened up nicely and is one of the few knives that I decided to take out of my collection to join my small EDC rotation.
