Seki Magoroku vs Wasabi

So, I've been searching for an affordable Chef's knife. The one clear answer I came up with was the Kershaw Wasabi Line, I would get to experience a Japanese style knife for cheap and have a good performer. Now, I see that KAI also manufactures Seki Magoroku line which is only a bit more expensive than the wasabis and definitely looks nicer.

Which ones are better?

What are your experiences with both lines specifically the Seki Magoroku?

Lastly, why are these not sold by Kershaw/KAI in the US and where is the most reliable source to acquire some in the states(seems like amazon stocks some)?
