Spyderco's a.jpg

I don't have many Spyderco's, but I've kept both of these due to memories. Tim Wegner and Phil Boguszewski both lived near me many years ago. Tim's garage was right around the corner from my place in Kent, and we did all the same shows and stuff. (I was making gun parts for companies like Beretta.) Both these knives were personal gifts. I don't think they ever marked anything "First Production Run" back then, but they were brand new on the market when I got them. The Wegner has been all over Europe; never had a problem carrying it on planes back then. I thought I'd lost the other, but found it in a side pocket of some old luggage the other day. Good memories, good knives.

The serrated one is marked Wegner, ATS-34. The other is etched Scott, and the steel is VG-10. They were made in Seki, Japan. The blades are 4", and they're around 20 years old.

The top one is a C48 Wegner. The other is a C73 Impala.

rycen - Thanks. I didn't know that. Never got boxes, they were just handed to me.
