I came across this interesting article this afternoon. What if, one day in the future, you're chipped 70HRC Maxamet knife just healed itself! The sharpening industry might have somethign to say about it. Fun to think about.

Yeah, that was posted a while back. It is on the nano-meter scale, though. Even I don't make minis that small.
