Self Reward System - 10 days closer to a MOAB or Butaniku

I finally did it...I quit smoking. It's been 10 days and I'm feeling good. I quit once before in my life for about a year and a half, but obviously something went wrong and I ended up back on em for the last year+.

This time I am planning a reward system to not only help me keep the course, but to get away with spending more money on INFI without getting into trouble ;).

I am making an imaginary fund that receives the cost of a pack of smokes per day ($10+). I plan to use this fund to purchase a large piece of INFI. I would probably get shot for buying a MOAB or Butaniku otherwise.

I honestly cannot decide which one I should set my sights on. The Butaniku is the longest piece of INFI ever, the MOAB is... Well it's the Mother Of All Bowies :O !!!

I should probably order now, shouldn't I? Are there even any Butanikus in the wild yet??

While I wait, I'd love to hear what y'all think I should get. I'd love it more if you said why you think I should get one over the other and pictures are definitely more than welcome.

Thats a pretty sweet reward for giving up smoking! If you want to keep the reward account going longer, maybe look into getting your ultimate custom made. It will cost most and take longer to get, but you will be that much further away from your last smoke.
 
I think you should get a pair of MOAB's with custom handles and have them made as a FNMOAB and a NMOAB. :D That! would make nice pair don't you think??

Man a FN MOAB would be pretty awesome.

I do like the idea of getting a totally custom blade made, however. I gotta start thinking about that.

I've quit for 3 yrs now it is a BIG part of the reason I have a knife budget!!!

Can't wait to see what you get!! It sure doesn't take long to accumulate the funds at $10 a pack!!

Nice looking blades you've got there man! I think I'd have to go handshaped as well.

I think I'd have more fun with the MOAB, while the Butaniku would go on display while it waits for the Zombie Apocalypse. Maybe I'll get both. I do really like the idea of a true custom as well. This is tough. Maybe I'll get it all and go back to being single :D.

Be careful what you wish for :( Going back to single, cost me enough that I could have filled a truck up with Infi!:grumpy:

That's an awesome way to get yourself to quit smoking. My mom told my dad if he stooped for a year he could buy himself the fishing boat he always wanted. He never has smoked since.that was like 25 years ago though. congrats on quiting
