I'm seriously thinking about getting a 4, but I'm not sure of it yet.

Why should I buy it? Why not?

It's the latest full-size BK reintroduction. As such it is the awesomest. Also, I want one.

I cut my self bone deep by lightly touching the edge...Thats why. Although it could be mad that I didnt strip it yet. Hmmmmm
 
Don't buy one. You don't really want one anyway............ Buy two! :D
 
Great knife.
Bk 4 ready for action it feels great with the micarta scales,very balanced feel and heavy bite using the forward weight.

I got one a few weeks ago.

As I took it out of the box and placed it in my hand I felt the need to use it.

The family was surprised to come home to a fresh pile of fire wood. Probably because we don't have a fire place, and there are no trees in our back yard.

I never liked that chair anyway, and chopping with the 4 is a dream.

When I know I'm gonna be chopping any significant amount of wood, I take an axe or hatchet. When I'm not planning on burning a fire all night or trips where pack weight is an important issue, I take my BK4 or a tomahawk. In areas where I have to hack through undergrowth I favor the BK4. It's not my favorite chopper or even my favorite Becker, but it has its place and I'm glad I have one in my tool box. The BK4 is relatively light, versatile, and the design makes it comfortable to use. Should you buy one? Not for me to say.
 
Because if you don't buy one, the terrorists have won. Is that the kind of world you want to live in?! I don't even know any of the words to their crappy shrill "music".
 
Save your money and don't buy one.


Buy two. Dual fisting Bk-4's should be on everyones bucket list. Find a nice spot and chop everything in site. Guaranteed to bring a smile.
 
4's are nice but if you're gonna have a Becker, ya gotta have a King. :)
