I sold my 710 in 154CM on another forum. I really liked this knife, but whenever I used it, the blade was just too narrow for me. I like wide blades on bigger folders. When I used to carry smaller one handed folders, like my 705 and 707, I preferred the wider blade of the 707. Anybody know if BM would produce a folder similar to the 710 in size and G10 handle, but with a wider blade similar to that of the 707? Maybe some thumb jimping on the blade itself?

The Mini-Rukus comes to mind. I've never owned a 710 or a mini-Rukus, so I'm sorta flyin' blind here, but I know the mini-R is still a large knife and the blade seems a bit wider than the 710 with a straight edge instead of a recurve.

The blade on the Rukus is almost perfect for me. The length is a little bit too much for me, but the basic shape etc is great. The handle is what turns me off. I had one, great knife, great ergos, but I just couldn't get past the look of it. Also, too bulky near the pivot, and too narrow at the end.
