selling burl??

I sometimes trade knives for supplies if the quality of the steel or handle material is pretty good, as i'm sure alot of makers do. I recently got a healthy supply and future supply of really good quality maple and myrtlewood(fiddleback and burl) and can't seem to find anywhere to sell or trade it. More importantly my supplier is a really nice guy and mills intrument grade panels, some very beautiful wood, he really knows what to look for, and I would like to help him find a buyer for his off pieces and ends. I truly have no greedy intentions and would just like to help a friend and customer. Any info would be great, maybe someone buying by the pound or?? I tried a large wood stabilizing company and got no answer. Any Ideas??

Yes,post it in the "for sale - knife making supplies".I buy large batches if the wood is good and the price is right.Photos are a must.It is a good idea to polish a piece or two to show it at its best.Email me if you are looking to sell it as a bulk batch.

thanks to all for the replies, I just started in with using bladeforum and everyone seems great. The knifemaking community never stops amazing me!! Anyway, those interested can e-mail at greshamblades@yahoo.com and I can give details and I will get some good quality pics to show detail this week. I personally feel that this is pefect material to get stabilized. Thanks again to all and I'll try to get some pics in the for sale area at the forum!!!

Yes, but first pony up and pay for a Gold membership in order to sell here. Otherwise, this is spam.

this weekend I will be getting a maker membership here to sell so keep your eyes peeled in the "for sale" area for the myrtle and maple burl. I'll do my best to get some clear pics. thanks again to all!!
