Selling dads TW90’s, what are they worth?

I am brand new to the site, so forgive me for my ignorance! My dad passed away a little over a year ago, and we decided it was time to sell his knife making equipment.

He has 2, almost new, TW90’s with a ton of attachments. I looked up the retail cost, however I could not find a used one on any platform. I was hoping this site could help me determine a reasonable value, as I have no idea to what half of the attachments do.

I appreciate any feedback, thanks!

Sorry for his passing....
*Mine did, too
Welcome to BF. Hopefully, you can stick around some

Howdy,
We are sorry for your loss.

My opinion as a Super mod is that you have the correct membership level to sell this equipment You also have the correct membership level to ask about prices. (Just so there are no questions about it from other members.)

Let's try this in the knife makers forum and see if you can get some reasonable feedback. I am moving the thread there now.

The attachments will determine a lot of the value here.

If you’re able to post a picture of the equipment that will help.

I’m not sure if there are different motor options on these so maybe post the motor size and voltage.

I think it really depends on whether or not you want to sell quickly.

If your just looking to offload them, I'd go to Travis's website total everything up from his list price, then knock a couple hundred or 5 up to maybe 800 off and list it.

If you're trying to get the most money on the sale, i'd clean them up super nice, and post each item separately and ask for near retail price, maybe 50-100$ less.

Either way they'll sell eventually

Thank you for the input, not looking to sell quick, nor am I looking for top dollar. Just a fair price as I know he absolutely loved these machines and want to pass the same energy on to another knife builder.

I appreciate all the feedback, everyone here has been amazing.

I moved this back to Shop talk after conferring with the super mods.

As long as this is kept to giving values and such, it is OK here. Please do not offer to buy it or sell it here.

OK, I'll move it back and caution the folks to keep it to values, not offers to buy it.
That's fair, Stacy. Anyone wishing to inquire can reach out to the OP via PM. If they don't have access, now would be a good time to rectify that for the $10 it would set them back. (That's up to them, of course, if they think the site is worth the expenditure.)

Anyone who wants to talk with Josh about the grinders should contact him by a PM.

There is a lot of equipment there and it would definitely be worth a two-day trip for someone to drive and get it.

The items shown are probably around $10,000 new.
If I was to estimate a quick sale value, I would say that $5,000-$6,000 would be a fair price for the lot

All nice, high end equipment, don't sell too cheap.
His shop would be the envy of most.
Even his light/lamp is the Best around. Looks like a Moffatt

Too bad you aren't making knives???
