Officially, if you asked them the answer would be no. ;).
(kala efharisto). :D.

the pit used to be the place for trading , selling and bartering among collectors , I have heard that last year , having knives visible in the pit was not allowed.

I've bought & traded knives almost every year at BLADE since it's been in Atlanta. I bought a Strider SnG & had money left over to get my Hamilton watch due to selling a Randall at BLADE.

Understand that a lot of distributors are there to make a profit, not spend their profits, so don't expect to sell something easy. It helps if what you are selling is rare or hard to get - Randalls, Morseths, Old EKs, discontinued productions (Spyderco Shabaria, Microtech Tachyon), etc. If you are trying to sell something that the buyer can find multiples of at BLADE you will be out of luck.

Additionally you can usually come out better trading towards another knife, than trying to get cash.

well only 30 were made its the strider/szabo knife in the vault movie. so i think it will sell easy and i think my dad is gonna get me to sell a few randels.

tgiannes, I just happen to have some magical 'randel rust remover' handy. So, tell ya what - have your dad send me his rusty randels and I'll send him some clean cash...'insto presto', problem solved! Then, you can go to the Blade show with cash, spend it all there without having to worry about pissing anyone off, or *shudder* getting kicked out - see, everybody wins this way...and ya might even have some change left for the pit :D

(Gawd, I'm so dern proud o'myself now for coming up with this brilliant plan, that I think I'll just go smoke myself a fat seegar and blow the smoke in my neighbors general direction...)

eMail me pics if possible to swickersham@sbcglobal.net
