Hello people of tech support, I am in need of some advice about selling handmade/custom knives

I have had just about everyone I know either ask me if I'm going to sell them or tell me I should start selling
What I would like to be able to do is sell knives here on BF and not have to rely on selling knives to people in person.

Here's what I would like to know: is there a way to purchase a membership without a PayPal (like money order)?

If not, is it possible to have a parent or relative send a payment to BF for a knifemaker membership? does the PayPal account name have to match the name of my BF account? Basically, does the PayPal account name have to match the name of the BF account?

My other question:
How is money order to work with? Is it a giant pain?
I understand how it works, I just want to know if its just a huge hassle and not worth the trouble?

Last question, is it against the rules for me (being 16) to sell knives if I have a knifemaker membership?
I have read through all the rules and it doesn't mention age restrictions but just want to be sure as to not violate rules.

Any help would me greatly appreciated!
If these questions are better answered Via email, please email me from my profile

Thanks!

As for purchasing memberships, you would need the Orange Knifemaker Craftsman level. Te details can be found here:

Once that is squared away, you can sell your items anyway you like. Cash, check, money order, paypal, gunpal, wire transfer, western union (any other kind of EMT). You may end up limiting yourself and your customers to not using paypal. Whatever your reasons, that is your prerogative. Most people will prefer paypal as it provides them buyer protection should something goes wrong.
Being 16, you may encounter some people that would question your ability of course. You would not be legaly liable for anything you may do wrong, in effect your parents would be on the line if say something got to the point where lawyers were involved. Maybe you should read up on some of the commerce laws in your area, that will give you a good idea and a possible starting point.

Once you already have your membership here, a good alternative to Paypal is Amazon Payments. All you need to get started is an Amazon account, and it has similar costs and protections to Paypal.

It isn't as universal as Paypal, but lots of people have Amazon accounts, so it might work for you.

Very interesting, I have not heard of Amazon payments but I do have a account
I'll look into it
Thanks
