Selling Knives of this forum

Hey guys, I have a noticed a few people selling strider knives on this forum. Is that cool here. I think it's really cool. It gives first crack to all the real Strider Fans. But Doesn't Spark lose his mind over this? I mean he is so uptight about what posts go where. I just wanna know for future reference is it ok to post Strider knives for sale here or not? Or is it only a gold member thing? Thanks for any help here.
 
Just a heads-up...Spark forbid people from selling in the Emerson forums. We can't even post links to things for sale in the sale forums, or out on the Web. :(

Can dealers post where ever they like or just Spark?

Please don't think I'm trying to hang Panzer or anyone out to dry. These are all great guys and they really are a joy to deal with when talking knives. I'm just trying to sift through the grey area here so that I am not to slip up and be "Banned" from the forums, since I've made a lot of friends here. I'd hate to do anything wrong or aginst the rules. Sorry if I'm stepping on any toes here.

Oh yeah Got me a Strider GB comming in. I should have it by Saturday. Heh heh! I'm part of the club now. If that ain't cool I don't know what is.
 
Nobody's perfect - we don't see every thread instantly. Sometimes a few get by, but they get moved when pointed out or found.

Otherwise, If you want to sell your knives, you get the opportunity to help keep the site open. If you don't want to help keep BladeForums.com open, then you don't get to sell your knives here.

It's that simple. Just what part don't you understand?

I don't see a problem with it, and a lot of posts I read contain info on buys. In Strider forums and even many other forum areas sales for all types of knives are out there...
Gold Membership of Dealer membership you pay a price to be here if you have either of those. What that entails is listed.
How can all of the deals, trades, or buys on here be regulated.

Ryu, don't mention names by your referance to Panzer in doing so and posting links to his forum comments, you are hanging him, you named him and IMO that is not right.

Your turning a general question that could be answered by reading Goldmembership rules or Dealer rules or the Rules of the Forum, into a public example of Panzer strikes me as inflamatory.
 
I like Panzer. He is one of my friends here. I was using his post as a reference. i'm just trying to get the facts. Where there are supposed to be cut and dry rules there seem to be grey areas. I value your opinion and will not make an argument out of this. I like all you guys. Just wondering that's all. If ya don't like what I'm saying just lock out the thread and let it die to the bottom. If what I've done is uncalled for.. replying to this post is only gonna draw it out. And as far as mentioning names mine was mentioned several times in the for trade post. I didn't think anything of it. Sorry like I said if I've stepped on toes. Just seeing how far my basic membership stretches I guess. LOL. If ya can't laugh about it you're taking things way to serious. Nothing we say or do here will keep the sun from comming up tomorrow.

The threads you mention have been moved to the Trade forum area.
Getting a paying membership will cover you more. Your basic membership is just for posting.

Strider4112, hey thanks for the defense man. I appreciate it, but its cool, I don't think Ryu meant any harm. Its a good question really, I was under the impression that if you were a gold member you could post for sale, in the trade forums, but also in the respective MFG's forum also. Obviously we wouldn't try to sell a strider in the busse forum or vice versa, but I thought it was ok to put striders up for sale first in that respective forum. Sorry if I goofed, guess i need to read more, its just I read legal mumbo jumbo gobly gook all day, tried to avoid having to do it here.

I actually stumbled over it. Can't tell ya all my secrets though. I posted it up for trade in the For Trade Forums. I like the tanto point a lot but I perfer the spear so I have it up for trade for an AR.
