Is there any way to sell knives on blade forum without becoming a gold member? I'm hurting for some money right now and need to sell a few knives.

Just get a Gold Membership, its only $25.00 bucks, its well worth the cost and you are supporting Bladeforums, a good cause.

No.

But while BFC is the best place to sell knives IMO, it's not the only show on the web.

If you're really hurting for cash and the $25 membership is too rich for your blood, there is another forum that (I think) charges a $1 commission per knife sale. Against the rules to post cross-forum links, but email me and I'll give you the web address. However, if you're selling 25 knives or more, it's best just to pony up for Gold here.

Edited to add: Also, if they're hunting/camping/EDC knives, you could get an account on one of the more popular gun boards (thehighroad, The Firing Line) and sell them. I don't think there's any fee to sell there. There did not used to be. In fact, a lot of similar boards probably have "Accessories for Sale" (or something similar) subforums. You just don't get the dedicated knife traffic.

Outside of answering Wanted to Buy Ads, No there is not.

Unfortunately, you cannot see the WTB ads unless you are a paying member! ;)

$25 is well worth it if you plan on selling a lot of knives. Especially if they are Busse family knives.

glocktalk is also free but if it is higher end knives your best bet is here.

I thought of that right after I posted it but haven't been able to get back until now. :)

Look at it this way. You cant fill your tank up for $25. It supports the forum and in doing so the knife community at large. Lastly as mentioned above BFC is probably the best place to sell knives on the web, by in large them members are very good honest people and you generally get very fair prices for what you sell.

I know what its like to be hard up for cash so if you do decide to spring for a gold membership, send me your paypal address and I’ll send $10 to go to the cost of the membership.
