There has been a bit of an increase in people wanting to sell things here. Several were people who were selling tools and knives from a deceased maker. While I certainly understand the desire to pass them on to someone who will use them and make some money for the estate (or whatever the reason was), the rules are pretty clear.

1) There is no buying or selling allowed in Shop Talk. This area is for discussing knifemaking and its related subjects, materials, and supplies.

2) ALL buying and selling must be in The Exchange. Knives and Gear can be sold in the proper areas by members with a Gold or higher level.

Tools, equipment, and supplies are restricted to the Knifemaker's Marketplace: Knifemaking Supplies and Tools and only Knifemaker and higher-level members can sell there.

Below is a copy of the header for that section of The Exchange:

KnifeMaker's Market: Knives & More for Sale

A place for custom makers and bladesmith's to sell their products, as well as pick up supplies and materials. Please note, selling is restricted to KnifeMaker members, buying is open to all.
