semester final project

Final project for my blacksmithing class. 224 layers of 1095 and 8740H, hand forged and hand ground. Lost-wax cast bronze handle, brass guard and top nut. Way far from perfect of course, but I am happy with the way this came out. This was my fifth knife, and my fist pattern welded blade. I got an A.

thank you very much fish. For a first effort (blade) I think it came out ok. I am already thinking about next semester's project, lol.

A good dagger but it is necessary to shoot better, handle failed.
