we have officially delcared all out WAR on the crows at my house, and im in need of a new pellet rifle, went out and got one of them pellet pistols at the sporting goods store for about 50 bucks, it works suprisingly well for the price but i need MORE!:D

Im looking for a semi auto pellet rifle with a scope. i remember seeing one in i think popular mechanics magazine a while back, looked like it used a paintball gun tank:confused: , im looking for something (somewhat) high quality, but not looking to spend more than 300-400 on the gun. what do you guys suggest.

Check it out HERE. It's a 12-shot CO2 semi-auto. I got one with a scope for about $50 (probably less--I don't remember the exact price). I'm sure there are better alternatives, but it's a lot of fun for the money. There used to be a place where you could have a 1077 retrofitted with a receptacle for a large paintball-type CO2 canister that hund down in front of the magazine.

My friends and I used to use mine for plinking in the basement. We'd open up the access to the crawl-space and use it for a "range". A good shot can shoot take the head off a plastic army man at 10 yards with a fresh CO2 cartridge. Don't laugh until you try it :p

Update: I think you are thinking of THIS ONE

The Air Force Talon ( LINK ) looks like a paint ball gun, but is not a semi-auto.

Here's the place that sells the bulk tanks for the 1077 ( Mac1 ). Click HERE for details and HERE for a photo of a converted wood stocked 1077.

why would i shoot crows you ask?

WELL lemme tell ya, EVERY DAMN MORNING, they sit on the roof right on top of my room and PECK AND SCRATCH,AND SCREECH ALL MORNING:grumpy:

thats why:)

it's almost like they can tell if you come near them with a rifle...

You might need a gillie suit or a shooting blind.

Diletante, THANK YOU!, THAT is exactly what i was talking about, i want one of them soooo bad!
Down with the crows!:D

just wondering. I think Crows are pretty cool. I used to shoot pigeons all the time at my old house...they were constantly on the roof and back porch and they left their droppings everywhere.

. . . and the velocity is adjustable, so you can go supressed and subsonic to avoid bothering your neighbors (although local, state and federal authorities might have something to say about a supressed pellet guns).

I've got a Career 707 carbine .22 you might be interested in.

Check out Mac1for more info.
