Semi warped moonglow scales

Hey everyone, I thought I would tap into the collective wisdom of the forum on this one. I recently purchased a used Manix2 with aftermarket moonglow scales online. I've noticed that the grip scale on the clip side above the pivot along the top edge is a little more than 1/32" separated from the steel liner. Is there some way to bend or massage the top corners to lay against the liner as the rest of the scale does? There was no paperwork or identifier on what the whitish grips are made from. They do take a charge pretty good though.
