You boys are doing it better. The Army and Air crew should pay attention. And, then there is the Navy. You are not doing it right. What did you expect?

Why is it that we knew how to do it in 1966, and all is lost?

Intell is a product.

Warriors bleed.

The timid lose.

How long does it take to sink in?

If you find one send it to The Joint Chiefs.

They could use some guidance.

FNG,
The Marines have always done it better!
That's why they are the best! I know that sounds like a smartarse jerk, but having been in the Corps from 73 to 78, I have a certian love for it that will never go away! I think it is all in attitude. The Marines from top to bottom have pushed themselves to stand out from the crowd. To go that extra little bit further to excel. This attitude always seems to attract people that wish to be that little bit different. To strive to make themselves that much better than they were the day before. This is not a flame against any other branch of the service, just the feelings of someone that will always love the Corps and be proud of the men and women that keep it so special. I will now stand down from my soapbox. Longwinded today for some reason.

Being a senior type, I conclude that the Corps has a better handle on reality than most.

I get this from USNI and Tailhook, even the Army, among other sources. The AF won`t `fess to anything that would impede their budget. I do not do "talking heads". I have no idea what Dan Rather doesn`t think.

I just hope that their leadership can maintain this rather poor showing compared with the past, and the other service`s even poorer show.

To clarify; the Corps has not lost sight of its mission entirely, not quite yet.

Craig, can you expect to consistantly hit a man at 600 yds. with a service rifle? You should.

I hear that Marines and Soldiers are buying their own ammo to qualify.

In the meantime, Klinton was throwing ordanance like they can replace it.

Damned by faint praise.

You Jarheads didn`t sign up for easy.

I believe that marksmanship,CQB and guts will never be replaced in my lifetime.

Thus, I belive in the "Creed of the Marine Corps".

This is my Rifle.
