Can I send a 110 back to Buck for engraving? I gifted one to a friend of mine that I had the recent pleasure of participating in his comissioning ceremony for the USMC.. I bought one for myself and one for him as a matched pair.. Im getting custom leather made for them, and would like to have the knives engraved.. Will Buck do this if i send them in? Thanks.

Body, Yes, Buck does this as a special service and it's listed in their catalog on page 61 .
You'll have to call to obtain pricing but they do it . Let us know how it turns out . DM

I don't think they do engraving. They will write a name or inscription, but that's all I know about.....

They do make special knives for awards, etc., but I've never heard of an engraving shop. You'd think that would be offered in the Custom Shoppe if they offered it.

Thats all Im looking for is some initials and a date.. No scroll work, but that would be money if they would do it..

Should be able to get it done by a place that does other engraving, check with jewelry stores.

Good call.. If Buck can do it, Id rather just send it to them, but its an avenue to consider.. Can a jewelry store engrave a hardened blade?

Body, No . Unless they're set up to acid etch . Buck can do anything in Etching . Lettering, figures even in 24kt. gold, symbols, ect.. Have you seen some of the post photos of the Club knives or Limited Editions ? DM
