Doesn't seem that great, sure its nearly free, but it's time, a touch up sharpening, not even a rework only takes a few minutes and it's definately something good to know, I would push self sharpening knowledge rather than rely on maufac. or the edge pro people. Just a little question rant.

some people don't have to know the nuts and bolts of what they like. Personally I do, I can't stand to have something and not know how it works and how to take care of it. For most people, they'd rather purchase a nice knife and instead of risk messing up the edge trying to sharpen it theirself, they'd rather just send it back to the manufature. Most people aren't like us, they don't sharpen new knives.

Sharpening is a bit of an art--I always have enjoyed learning new things--so I was determined to do it myself....it didn't take that long.
