I have a Benchmade 672 (D2, half serated) and ive been using the optimizer spring almost exclusivly but I think ive aquired a problem, the blade now wobles side to side, its noticable when the blade is open with the lock engaged but when you remove the lock (push it sideways that is) the blade wobbles even more. I expected better from benchmade, I mean ive had flea market knives that dont wobble (and still have em to this day) How should I resolve my issue with the wobbleing (please dont say tighten the piviot screw....ive tried that already) I dont know I just thought that I would be getting quality stuff that would last a lifetime when I got the benchmade.....guess not:( ohh I also managed to bust a piece of the blade off (a chunck of the seration)

So, send it to benchmade or keep it?

Have you checked the rest of the screws?

BM should take care of you. Probably not the serrations part, but the lock will be fixed. If they can't you should either get back a new knife or store credit to shop around their web-site. So far I haven't heard one bad thing about BM's CS and warranty, they do go that extra mile for the customer.
