First off I want to thank Clich for his BK10 user contest and Nick for his generousity in providing the prize. I recieved my new BK10 scout sheath today and from the moment I unwrapped it I was amazed at the quality and craftsmanship that went into making it. I think I sat at my kitchen table for a half hour just admiring it. So to quench that Beckerhead thirst for all things cool....
Since I'm not a fan of carrying add-ons on my larger knife sheaths I went with just a plain sheath in medium brown. The leather is top notch. Very sturdy. Edges are burnish smooth.
Heavy duty brass snaps.
And to my surprise completely ambidextrious.
Leather is molded perfectly for the BK10.
Retention is perfect. The retention strap really isn't needed, but adds a nice touch of security.
Coloring is just what I was looking for.
Not bulky at all. Perfect!
Again... Thanks for the contest Clich and thanks Nick for such a nice sheath! Greatly appriciated. I highly recommend Nick's sheath to anyone looking for leather. You won't be disappointed. The only CON I have is now I want another one. LOL
