Hi, I am probably over thinking this but I am nervous about sending my precious Chris Reeve knives away haha.

I have a starbenza I want to get spa treatment and I also have a umnumzaan that had the lock bar stabilizer fall off from a drop from my 2nd floor.

Should I send these in the same box with just 1 warranty paper and specify that I want both to have spa treatments and also for the LBS on the umnumzaan be fixed or should I send them in seperate boxes with seperate papers?

Also will they send me them back in the same box to save on shipping costs ? Or will they send them back to me as they complete them?

Thank you for your advice

I dont see why u would sent them seperatey. Just send them via priority flat rate box that is insured. As far as on CRK end no idea but if u sent them together u might get them together.

I recommend sending them an email they are pretty quick with their response just to make sure

I always wait until I have two or more before sending them in to save on shipping! Just make sure you specify what you want done to each knife on the form and let it fly:) Unless you request otherwise, they will send them back together.

If you send them together you will only need to pay 1 shipping return fee. Do not send any of your personal paperwork or knife box with them-just the instructions(including return address and contact info) of the work to be done and knife safely packaged(I use USPS small flat rate insured)

I wrapped each knife in a paper towel, bound it with a rubber band along with the CRK sheet printed from the web site. I explained what I wanted done for that knife. Then I put the wrapped CRK and paper in a Zip Loc bag. I did that for each of the two I sent in. Put both in a priority box, tightly packed where they wouldn't move around in transit.
Got an email from CRK saying they received the knives. Got another email when the knives were finished and were ready to be mailed back. I called them about payment.
The knives came back boxed in a CRK box, each knife had its own box.. How great is that!!!!!!
Now that I've done it, it's no big deal to send in more than one. :)

I've sent twelve at once, in the same box. I was a little nervous until tracking showed delivered! You'll be just fine sending two in the same box. Just insure them to your comfort level, keep track of them until they are delivered and you get the email from CRK and then try to forget about them for a while. Before you know it, they will be back in your hands.

I send them in the same box, but fill out a separate form for each one. That way, what I want done for each knife is clear.
