This is mainly for Sal, but...
I'm going to get that BladeForums Native in the mail today. I'm sending it USPS to the regular customer service address on the back of the Spydie catalog. I'll put a note in, calling it to your attention like you had mentioned, and reminding you that it is the Native with a suspect heat treat problem.

Something else I was wondering, though. If possible, I would like to purchase an extra Native bright stainless clip for it, to use instead of the blue enamel (which, btw, is not attached to the knife right now; rest assured, however, I DO have the blue enamel clip).

How much should I include with the knife to cover the cost of a new clip?

Just a quick update.
We checked the Rc on your blade and it's 55.5 - 56 which is fine. We are now checking the edge angle.
Will keep you posted.

Thanks Vince. It's nice to know that it made it there OK. I miss my knife. So much that in the interim I had to buy a C05GP Standard. Another sweet product of the Spyderco factory. You guys are something else.
