Sending private message

very sorry but been away for a long time and just signed back up as gold member. I can not figure out how to send private messages. Not sure if it's me or not. Thanks

Click on the person's username, select Send Message.
Or, if aren't looking at a post,
Click the envelope icon at the top of the page (below, and to the right of the bladeforums logo), click on Start a New conversation, enter the username of the person, send your message.

(Registered members cannot receive messages - in case that is where you are encountering a problem)

Non-paying members can't receive messages, if they have a basic membership or higher they'll be able to receive messages but if they're a plain member you'll have to write a profile message to them instead.

A registered member is anybody with an account that hasn't paid for upgraded membership (ie Basic, Gold, Platinum, Dealer, etc).
