Sending Replacements clip with screws in seperate zip bag.

Don't know if anyone ever experience this but this is my second time. When I request Benchmade to send me replacement clips, I ask them to send with the screws separately. For some reason my last package, the envelope is crush causing the screws to scrape against the clip causing a obvious scratch.

Just think Benchmade should look into this as some of us may have experience such incident.

BTW: Thumbs up for Benchmade, their customer service is outstanding! Fast respond! Fast shipment...perfect!
 
Never thought about it, but it does make sense.

As for the clips and CS response for requests, they are A+. I was very impressed
 
Never had it happen myself, but I store screws in a small bag that I put inside the bag with the clip. Sometimes I'll just put the screws through the hole on the clip and wrap a piece of painter's tape around it to keep the screws from free floating and scratching the clip. Given how responsive Benchmade is as a company, I'm positive they will send you another clip and screws, and will gladly put the screws in a separate bag if requested. They've always been awesome about sending me clips, and not once have I ever been charged. One email and a few days later they show up.
