Seneca or Iroquois?

Hi All,

I'd like to ask for some opinions/comparisons between the H&B Seneca and the FT. Turner Iroquois 'hawks. I've read many other threads and it seems they are both excellent for the money! It also seems they differ in that the H&B (as a whole, not necessarily the Seneca per se) tends to have a more obtuse grind on the bit, but is very well fitted to the haft. Thr Ft. Turner's seem to have a thinner (Sharper?) bit out-of -the- box in my research and may ahve a tiny bit more play in the fit(Althoug still excellent. Hard choices! Any input would be greatly appreciated, as I have not had the opportunity to handle either.

Thanks!

I have an iroquois and a seneca with the arrow like spike. Personally I prefer the FT but it is preference. If you want a thinner lighter hawk go with FT if you want a stouter hawk go with H&B. Both very well made and great for money. I'd say the FT came a little bit sharper. Oh and the head hasn't loosened yet on it so not too much play in it.

Thanks for the feedback, Brody R. I appreciate it. I'm really leaning toward the FT.Turner.. guess I need to give Dana a call..

go for it, i certainly wasn't disappointed. thinking about going for their bowie thrower next. yea something about the FT just feels authentic like something you could see a trader selling
