A Senior Member is someone who spends too much damn time here and has something to say about pretty much everything!

I thought Senior Members were pretty cool until I became one, then at that point I stopped bothering what the status of a member was because it makes no real difference.

The benefit is that you are an integral part of a knife loving community with your own unique perspective to contribute.

This is the only place I know of where over 3000 knifenuts can come and discuss something we all love without worrying about being attacked for this fondness for sharp things.

Long before you registered, everyone who was newly registered was a junior member. I kind of liked that. Of course, that changed and now you are a member upon registering.

yeah, these forums are great. you guys have tought me alot. i've been a member for about 2-3 months, and already my blades have come from a peice of iron with the grinder marks still in it and a peice of oak glued to it. to a blade of 0-1, and handles of mirror polished buffalo horn. i'd like to thank you.

Bob Irons hit the mark with those remarks. Keep typing and you'll get "senior" but it really means nothing.
Here, everyone is equal and most everyone has something to contribute and/or add to the knowledge pool that is Blade Forums. I'm learning every time I come here. And I generally have a great time at it, too!
