Two things very seldom seen....Gold Quartz and a stick-tang, integral 52100 Vest Fighter from who maybe the BEST at his craft in The World....my buddy Mike Quesenberry....The Gold Standard.

My favorite part is when I got the nod, he told me that he had misjudged the amount of steel and came up short of being able to create a full-tang Hunter like he intended...I thanked him for thinking of me when he f's up!!!! :D

Mike LOATHES stick-tang knives and this maybe the very last one ever seen...hope so!

He called and asked what kind of edge I preferred on the slightly recurved blade so the clip and edge was stropped to a razor sharpness....should there be any other kind?!

The last time I attended Blade was 2014 and I had the exceptional fortune of being tossed from the Waverly, making the trek 2 blocks over the hill and, lo and behold, there are my buddies staying there, too!!!

It'll be a time to remember....especially being able to hang with my friend Bing... :(

Jeezus. Look at that THIN guard. Everything about this 'regular' utility is outstanding.

1 + 1 = 10!

Look at that swedge oh my goodness I just can't keep my eyes off it. That and the handle screams mid century upholstery. The thickness and that subtle guard and choil. Magnificent. Is this just for show? I bet this can take some trail use easily.

Thank you all, it is a grand piece and I need a sheath for it but I’m not sending it out in this cluster f#^#* of shipping these days....after the dust settles from our ongoing basement project I’m going to drag my sheath making stuff out and give it a shot for several I have the need of pants for. :)

The knife is very nice but we're going to need more information about you getting kicked out of the Waverly!!

Ha! It wasn’t ‘kicked out with a boot’, I guess I had worn out my welcome.

I got into town on a Wednesday and was headed to Taladega Speedway and Jimmy Fikes place on my way home but wasn’t leaving until Tuesday....Waverly told me Sunday morning my time was up and there were no rooms left or available.

No one else got the call, I guess, because everyone I knew stayed on....worked out for the best anyway.

Now, if they’d just move Blade from that Godless Sewer called Atlanta.

Quiz is the best sort of people. Great knife - wish we saw more stuff like this, from him.
